Key Account Manager – Woolworths NZ

About the role

Tegel is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to lead the partnership with Woolworths NZ. You will be responsible for driving sales, margin growth and strategic initiatives for one of New Zealand’s largest grocery accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver agreed sales, volume, revenue, profitability and growth targets.
• Lead annual planning, forecasting, promotional execution and business reviews.
• Identify category, ranging, promotional and new product development opportunities.
• Provide accurate forecasts and collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, Category and Finance teams.
• Balance immediate customer needs with long‑term strategic growth while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry obligations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Category Management, Business Development or a similar FMCG sales role.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability to interpret market and performance data.
• Outstanding negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence multiple stakeholders.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline is advantageous.
