Key Account Executive – VMI

About the role
We are seeking a highly organised, relationship‑focused Key Account Executive to join Reckitt's New Zealand sales team in Auckland. The role has national responsibility for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) with Foodstuffs, overseeing the end‑to‑end process to ensure optimal stock availability and execution of customer initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead all VMI activities for the Foodstuffs team across the North and South Islands.
- Act as the primary replenishment contact, managing inventory flow and ordering processes between Reckitt and the customer.
- Collaborate with Sales and Supply teams to meet service level targets.
- Conduct supply reviews and serve as the first point of contact for customer supply matters.
- Align forecasts between Reckitt and Foodstuffs systems to maintain high forecast accuracy.
- Produce regular reporting, analysis and insights to support decision‑making.
- Develop field sales materials and coordinate with the Field Team to execute commercial activities.
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships internally and externally.
Required profile
- Strong organisational and relationship‑building abilities.
- Experience in FMCG, key account management, customer operations, supply chain or sales support.
- Ability to manage inventory planning, reporting and field activation coordination.
