Key Account Executive (Fixed-Term) – Auckland

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Key Account Executive to join our high‑performing Mars Petcare team in Auckland. Working closely with the Customer Development Manager, you will help drive commercial success for our pet‑care portfolio, build strategic customer partnerships and contribute to the growth of beloved brands.

Key responsibilities

• Manage promotional submissions through the online customer portal, supporting the Key Account Manager.
• Identify and develop opportunities that strengthen customer relationships and drive business growth.
• Own and deliver projects aligned with channel and business objectives.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives across the team.
• Collaborate with demand planning to ensure accurate forecasting.
• Create and maintain regular reporting and insights to inform decision‑making.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support as needed.

Required profile

• Passion for sales, preferably with FMCG or related industry experience.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities, able to turn data into actionable insight.
• Good understanding of core business metrics and trade mathematics.
• Excellent project‑management, attention‑to‑detail and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
