Junior Salesforce Administrator (Wellington)

About the role

Seisma Group is expanding its Salesforce capability in New Zealand and is looking for a motivated Junior Salesforce Administrator to join the Wellington team. This permanent position offers the chance to develop technical skills while supporting large‑scale digital transformation projects for government, education, utilities, financial services and enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for business‑critical Salesforce environments.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Manage and prioritize tickets using Jira Service Management and Service Desk platforms.
• Perform administration tasks such as user management, permissions, profiles, roles and security settings.
• Configure Salesforce with declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, reports).
• Support testing, deployments and release activities across environments.
• Handle data imports, exports and data‑quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts and stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues.
• Maintain documentation, knowledge articles and support procedures.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of Salesforce administration experience.
• Salesforce Administrator certification (highly regarded).
• Experience providing Level 2 application support in a Salesforce environment.
• Strong familiarity with Jira and Service Desk ticketing systems.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn from senior team members.
