About the role
Northpower is seeking a motivated Junior Distribution Engineer to join its team in Whangarei. In this entry‑level position you will support the delivery of distribution engineering services, gaining hands‑on experience in the power generation and distribution sector.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers with design tasks related to power distribution networks.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for projects and maintenance activities.
- Perform data analysis to support engineering decisions and performance monitoring.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
