Java Software Engineer – AI Trainer (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a Java Software Engineer to join DataAnnotation’s coding team as an AI Trainer. In this remote, contract position you will work directly with cutting‑edge AI models, creating and solving coding challenges that help improve intelligent systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with a focus on Android development.
• Write clear, high‑quality Java (and Kotlin) code snippets and detailed explanations.
• Evaluate AI‑generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
• Provide constructive feedback that shapes the next generation of AI models.

Required profile

• Fluent English (native or bilingual level).
• Preferred experience with Kotlin and Android development.
• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress.
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Engineer, or Programmer.
