IT Support – Part‑time Fixed‑term (4‑6 months)

About the role

Franklin Vets is seeking a part‑time IT Support professional for a fixed‑term contract of 4–6 months. You will be the first point of contact for a dispersed network of 300+ users across multiple veterinary clinics, ensuring their technology works smoothly every day.

Key responsibilities

• Provide front‑line helpdesk support, logging and resolving tickets through the IT helpdesk system.
• Manage and optimise Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Forms and user access.
• Onboard new users, provision hardware, and configure laptops, PCs and printers on‑site.
• Coordinate with third‑party suppliers to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Maintain licensing, permissions and access controls to protect data security.
• Support specific IT projects and technology rollouts, working closely with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experienced Level 1 IT support professional with strong communication skills.
• Patient, approachable and calm under pressure.
• Ability to manage both incident tickets and structured project work.
• Proactive problem‑solver who takes ownership of issues.
• Full NZ driver’s licence for on‑site visits between clinics.
