About the role
The IT Support Officer will provide on-site technical assistance at Le Cordon Bleu’s New Zealand campus and deliver remote Level 1-2 support to the Australian campuses. Reporting to the Australia-based IT Manager, the role works autonomously while adhering to the global IT standards and processes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, peripherals and mobile devices.
- Deliver remote desktop assistance to Australian campuses.
- Set up, deploy and maintain end-user devices and classroom/lab equipment.
- Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and Entra ID/Azure AD.
- Manage user lifecycle – onboarding, off-boarding and permission changes.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and connectivity issues.
- Provide AV support for lecture theatres, classrooms and events.
- Monitor and respond to tickets within agreed SLAs and escalate complex issues.
- Liaise with external vendors and Managed Service Providers.
- Maintain documentation, asset inventory and assist with procurement.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in an IT support or service-desk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Entra ID).
- Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, switching, TCP/IP fundamentals).
