About the role
In this hands‑on role you will work closely with the store team to ensure all technology – desktops, laptops, mobile devices and point‑of‑sale systems – operates to current specifications and supports both customers and staff. You will also collaborate with the national IT team as Mitre 10 rolls out a new operating system across its stores.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and support a wide range of in‑store technology.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues as they arise.
- Assist with system updates and new technology rollouts.
- Work independently and alongside team members.
Required profile
- A student currently studying IT seeking hands‑on experience, or an individual with relevant IT knowledge looking for part‑time work.
- Passion for modern technology and strong time‑management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently with excellent communication skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, problem‑solving ability and adaptability.
- Proactive, team‑focused approach.
