Investment Analyst – Asset Allocation

About the role

The Investment Analyst will join the Asset Allocation team within Funds Management, supporting the design, monitoring and implementation of strategic and tactical portfolio positions. Reporting to the Head of Asset Allocation, you will help translate market insight, quantitative analysis and portfolio research into disciplined, evidence‑based investment decisions for customer portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct macro‑economic, market and asset‑class research to underpin investment views and portfolio decisions.
• Identify, evaluate and monitor tactical asset‑allocation opportunities by analysing market conditions, valuations, fundamentals and behavioural drivers.
• Provide analysis and data inputs for long‑term portfolio design, including capital‑market assumptions, scenario analysis and construction exercises.
• Monitor market developments, emerging risks and investment opportunities to generate proactive ideas.
• Develop, maintain and enhance investment models, analytical tools, dashboards and reporting used for portfolio analysis and risk monitoring.
• Prepare clear investment reports, presentations and briefing materials for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial markets, asset classes, macro‑economic drivers and the key contributors to investment performance.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous research and translate findings into actionable investment insights.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail.
