Internal Audit Manager – Technology

About the role

As the Internal Audit Manager – Technology you will join AIA’s Internal Audit team to provide independent assurance on technology risk and control effectiveness across the organisation. You will plan and execute risk‑based IT audits, uncover insights that strengthen cybersecurity, systems and operational resilience, and help senior leaders make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead risk‑based IT audits covering cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications and software development.
• Evaluate technology controls, identify gaps and recommend practical improvements.
• Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
• Build trusted relationships with audit, technology and business teams to embed robust controls.
• Integrate data‑analytics and emerging audit tools to expand coverage and efficiency.
• Monitor remediation actions and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

Required profile

• Significant experience in IT audit, technology risk or IT operations.
• Strong analytical ability to assess complex risks and propose practical solutions.
• Proven track record of influencing both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• High degree of independence, judgement and integrity.
• Ownership mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality outcomes.
