About the role
Russell McVeagh is seeking a Senior Solicitor or Senior Associate to join its market‑leading Real Estate team in Auckland. The role offers the chance to advise New Zealand’s most sophisticated property investors, developers and corporate owners on high‑profile projects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on commercial leasing, property development and major subdivisions.
- Handle acquisitions, disposals, hotel management arrangements and matters in the agricultural and forestry sectors.
- Support domestic and overseas funds, property institutions and corporate property owners/occupiers.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers to deliver comprehensive real‑estate solutions.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience practising real‑estate law in New Zealand.
- Background in private practice with a strong track record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong collaborative mindset and a keen interest in the property sector.
