Intermediate Structural Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our Auckland consultancy. The role involves delivering structural design and documentation for a variety of residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with local standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structural designs from concept through to detailed documentation.
• Prepare and review construction drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.

Required profile

• Qualified civil/structural engineer with several years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently.
• Strong understanding of New Zealand building codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
