About the role
We are looking for an intermediate‑level bookkeeper to join our team on a remote contract basis. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our clients and ensuring timely processing of transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Record day‑to‑day financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements and other accounts.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders and expense claims.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Generate basic financial reports for management review.
Required profile
- Intermediate experience in bookkeeping or similar accounting roles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Good communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB).
- Solid knowledge of Excel for data handling.
