Intermediate Auditor – Auckland

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Auditor to join our Auckland team on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will work on audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, collaborating closely with senior auditors and partners while gaining exposure to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit fieldwork and complete assigned audit sections.
• Prepare audit workpapers and support financial statement preparation.
• Identify audit risks, gather sufficient audit evidence and document findings.
• Liaise with clients and audit team members to obtain information and clarify issues.
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high‑quality work.
• Utilise audit software such as CaseWare and advanced Excel functions effectively.

Required profile

• Minimum 1+ year of audit experience in a CA or public practice environment.
• Currently progressing towards CA/CPA qualification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to engage confidently with clients and team members.
• Motivation to work in a supportive, growth‑focused environment.

Required skills

• CaseWare audit software.
• Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
