Interior Designer

About the role

Bureaux is seeking an Interior Designer with at least four years of post‑qualification experience to join its award‑winning studio in Freemans Bay, Auckland. You will work on high‑end residential projects, contributing from concept through to documentation, FF&E specification and site involvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept designs and deliver compelling client presentations.
• Produce detailed construction documentation and specifications.
• Specify and source FF&E items, ensuring quality and fit.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in site visits and coordinate with the construction team.

Required profile

• A qualification in Interior or Spatial Design.
• Minimum four years of post‑qualification experience, preferably on high‑end residential projects.
• Strong design and presentation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• NZ residency and a full driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (advantageous).
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
