Integrated Operations Engineer II – Team Z

About the role

Rocket Lab is seeking an Integrated Operations Engineer II to join Team Z at its Auckland site. You will support the full lifecycle of testing and launch operations, from stack testing through pre‑launch processing, launch, on‑orbit activities, and mission disposal.

Key responsibilities

• Define test and operational requirements and develop Concept of Operations (CONOPs) flows.
• Plan, schedule, and execute test and launch operations to meet program timelines.
• Develop and coordinate procedures that ensure safe and efficient testing and launch activities.
• Lead or participate in gated readiness reviews prior to integration, testing, and operations.
• Configure, checkout, and operate test stands, launch pads, and control centres.
• Integrate and checkout test articles and flight vehicles before testing or flight.
• Install and configure test/flight articles and associated instrumentation on test stands and launch pads.
• Lead and conduct testing and operational activities throughout the mission lifecycle.

Required profile

• Based in Auckland and able to work onsite at Rocket Lab’s facilities.
• Experience with integrated testing, launch operations, and hardware checkout processes.
