Infrastructure Stakeholder Liaison

About the role
The Infrastructure Stakeholder Liaison joins the Infrastructure and Assets Group to support transport maintenance and renewal programmes across Hamilton. Working closely with Connect Hamilton, the role ensures residents, businesses and other stakeholders are kept informed and disruptions are minimised.
Key responsibilities
- Identify risks and opportunities during programme planning to reduce stakeholder disruption.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis for high‑disruption maintenance and renewal projects.
- Lead community updates, including door‑knocking and letter drops, to communicate upcoming works.
- Escalate stakeholder concerns to project teams before, during and after works.
- Own complaints handling for maintenance and renewal activities, with expert support as needed.
- Assist the Customer Experience Team with enquiries related to planned works.
- Identify and implement improvements that benefit internal and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in stakeholder engagement, community engagement, customer service or communications.
- Previous experience with infrastructure maintenance and renewal activities.
- High level of computer literacy.
