Independent Director – Board of Directors

About the role

Busck Group is seeking an Independent Director to join its Board of Directors. The role provides strategic oversight for a vertically integrated group of concrete and construction businesses across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and governance to the Board and senior management.
• Contribute to growth strategy, market positioning and capital allocation decisions.
• Offer insight on industry dynamics, supply‑chain risks and pricing cycles.
• Monitor financial, operational, health & safety and ESG performance across all entities.
• Constructively challenge management while supporting execution of strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Senior leadership or governance experience in precast concrete, concrete manufacturing or a closely related sector.
• Deep understanding of production, logistics and project‑based delivery environments.
• Experience navigating New Zealand infrastructure or construction cycles.
• Ability to work independently and think critically.
