About the role
GVI Logistics Ltd is seeking an experienced Import Operator to join its team at Auckland Airport. You will play a key part in managing inbound freight, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and supporting smooth logistics operations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and process import documentation for air cargo shipments.
- Verify shipment details against customs requirements and company standards.
- Communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Track inbound shipments and update status in the logistics system.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with audit preparation.
Required profile
- Proven experience in import operations or freight forwarding.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
