Import Operations Operator – Sea & Air Freight

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Import Operations Operator to manage day‑to‑day sea and air freight shipments. You will act as the main point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth import processes and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Process orders in Flow and enter shipment data into Cargowise.
• Prepare and manage all required import documentation, including customs entries.
• Invoice customers, handle vendor invoices, and maintain financial control over assigned files.
• Track shipments from departure to delivery, provide weekly updates and ETA alerts.
• Build consolidation containers (LFL/LF) and arrange bookings for FCL, LCL, and air freight.
• Collaborate with sales, pricing, customs, and logistics teams to ensure accurate information flow.
• Support the team leader with daily operations and desk cover as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in import operations, sea and air freight.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with company policies, shipping line guidelines, and customs procedures.
