About the role

We are seeking a proactive manager to lead our Hydraulic and Industrial Hose service centre in Penrose, Auckland. The role blends hands‑on mechanical expertise with strong people skills to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the hydraulic and industrial hose shop, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Lead and develop a team of technicians, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Manage inventory of hoses, fittings, and related equipment, coordinating with suppliers as needed.
• Maintain service standards, quality control, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Utilise the provided UTE for site visits, deliveries, and customer support.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to combine practical/mechanical aptitude with effective people management.
• Experience in a hands‑on technical environment, preferably within hydraulic or industrial hose services.
• Commitment to delivering a rewarding service experience.
