Human Resources Manager – Eltham Site

About the role

Lactalis-Mainland Dairy is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR delivery at its historic Eltham cheese production site. You will work closely with site leadership to build a safe, engaged and high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end HR support covering workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, engagement, culture, change management and employee relations.
• Partner with site and business leaders to drive capability building, engagement initiatives and cultural change.
• Lead employee‑relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances and resolution pathways.
• Manage compliance obligations, workforce risk and support local industrial‑relations activities such as union engagement.
• Coach and up‑skill leaders on people management, performance conversations and organisational effectiveness.
• Monitor people metrics, identify trends and implement actions to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with Health and Safety to support safety leadership and compliance.

• Proven generalist HR experience.
