About the role
The Islamic College of Brisbane is seeking an enthusiastic HPE Curriculum Leader to empower primary‑school learners through health, physical education and sport. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Christchurch with a planned relocation to Brisbane in 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deliver and evaluate HPE programmes that promote confidence, wellbeing and teamwork.
- Lead and mentor teachers in best practices for health and physical education.
- Collaborate with school leadership to integrate sport initiatives into the broader curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and adjust programmes to meet diverse learning needs.
Required profile
- Relevant teaching qualification and experience in primary‑school HPE.
- Demonstrated ability to lead curriculum development and teacher coaching.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school community.
