Housekeeping Cleaner – Casual (Upper Hutt)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Housekeeping Cleaner to join our team at St Joseph's Lifecare in Upper Hutt. This casual position works on an as‑needed basis, covering both morning and afternoon shifts. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and kitchens.
• Ensure all surfaces are disinfected according to health and safety standards.
• Manage waste disposal and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisory team.
• Collaborate with other staff to support a tidy and comfortable living environment.
