Housekeeper & Office Assistant

About the role

This dual position combines front‑desk duties with housekeeping responsibilities at a holiday park in Whakatāne. You will welcome guests, manage bookings and payments, and ensure the cabins and communal areas are clean and ready for the next visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, process payments and handle booking enquiries.
• Provide high‑standard cleaning for cabins, bathrooms, kitchens and shared facilities.
• Perform laundry duties and maintain stock of cleaning supplies.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service at all times.
• Work collaboratively with a small team on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good time‑management and health‑and‑safety awareness.
• Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment health and drug test.

Required skills

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning.
• Experience with guest check‑in/check‑out processes.
• Basic administration abilities (e.g., handling bookings, payments).
