About the role

We are looking for a well‑rounded, enthusiastic individual to join our Year 11 boarding team on a six‑month fixed‑term basis. The part‑time role is designed for university students or those seeking flexible early‑morning, after‑school, evening and weekend shifts, allowing you to make a positive impact on the lives of our boarders.

Key responsibilities

Build strong collegial relationships with kaimahi (staff).
Mentor and encourage positive behaviours among ākonga (students).
Collaborate effectively within the boarding team.
Ensure the safety, supervision and security of ākonga.

Required profile

Commitment to approximately 20 hours per week across varied shifts.
Willingness to coach or manage a school sports team.
Active participation in boarding house and school activities.
Background in working with youth and a can‑do attitude.

Required skills

Ability to use initiative.
Team‑player mindset.
