Hotel Porter – Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Porter to join the team at Mövenpick Hotel Auckland. In this role you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless assistance throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all guests and visitors with genuine hospitality, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain a visible presence in the lobby to be easily identified by guests.
• Assist with the transfer, storage, and handling of guest luggage and personal items.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles upon request, operating both automatic and manual cars when possible.
• Provide professional and polite assistance with guest requests, directions, local information, and transportation needs.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken English.
• Restricted or full New Zealand driver’s licence; ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles is an advantage.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster covering weekends, public holidays, and both morning and night shifts.
• Physically fit and able to lift at least 30 kg.
• Well‑groomed and presentable appearance.
