Hotel Porter – Guest Services & Concierge

About the role

The Porter role at Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport delivers exceptional, personalised guest experiences through professional concierge, porter, and lobby services. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well‑cared for from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, use their names when possible, and anticipate their needs.
• Coordinate luggage handling, room escorting, and valet parking where applicable.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Assist with tour bookings, transportation arrangements, and local recommendations.
• Maintain a polished, organised lobby environment that reflects premium hotel standards.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments, manage mail and parcel services, and handle guest concerns professionally.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to a safe, seamless guest experience.

Required profile

• Previous hospitality or hotel experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong guest‑service focus.
• Sound knowledge of the local area and attractions.
• Valid driver’s licence and flexibility to work varied shifts.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
