Hospitality Tutor

About the role
Join NZMA Hamilton as a Hospitality Tutor and deliver the Level 3 Hospitality programme to aspiring hospitality professionals. You will teach core modules such as café and barista service, food safety and hygiene, and function & event service while fostering a supportive, hands‑on learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver classroom and practical sessions for the Level 3 Hospitality curriculum.
- Demonstrate barista techniques and café service standards in real‑world settings.
- Teach and assess food safety and hygiene practices.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentor students throughout their studies.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom and adhere to health‑and‑safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Campus Manager to support campus growth and student success.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of supervisory or leadership experience in the hospitality sector, specifically café and barista operations.
- Relevant qualification at Level 4 or higher in Hospitality or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for developing learners.
- Previous teaching experience is advantageous but not essential.
