About the role
The New Zealand Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Waikato invites clinicians to join as Honorary Clinical Academics. This role bridges clinical practice with academic activities, supporting the development of medical education, research, and community partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to teaching, mentorship, and curriculum development for medical students and trainees.
- Support translational research and health‑technology innovation projects.
- Build and maintain partnerships between healthcare providers, communities, and the university.
- Participate in a national, multidisciplinary network of academic clinicians.
Required profile
- Qualified clinician from any specialty, region, or career stage.
