Holiday Park Lead

About the role

The Holiday Park Lead will oversee daily operations at Riverside, Whakatāne Holiday Park, ensuring exceptional visitor experiences. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will champion high standards in customer service, housekeeping, presentation and safety while coaching a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day park operations and maintain quality standards across all guest touchpoints.
• Lead, coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Resolve operational challenges promptly and act as the primary point of contact for staff and guests.
• Oversee housekeeping, presentation, health and safety compliance, and overall park appearance.
• Step into leadership duties during peak periods or when required, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior, lead or supervisory role within hospitality, tourism, accommodation or a customer‑focused environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Adaptable, resilient and able to respond to changing priorities while maintaining high standards.
• Passionate about coaching others, fostering teamwork and driving operational excellence.
