Heavy Vehicle Technician – Hastings

About the role
Scania is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join its Hastings workshop. You will perform diagnostics, rebuilds, and service/repairs on Scania products while working in a supportive, friendly team.
Key responsibilities
- Repair and maintain heavy vehicles and equipment, including engine rebuilds and servicing.
- Conduct mechanical diagnostics and service tasks on all Scania products.
- Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to health & safety standards.
- Work with genuine Scania parts and top‑tier tooling in a clean, well‑equipped workshop.
Required profile
- Level 4 qualification or at least 3 years proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician.
- Current New Zealand driver’s licence; forklift licence is highly desirable.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
