About the role
We are looking for a motivated Health Care Assistant to join our Selwyn team in Rolleston. This full‑time, on‑site position offers comprehensive training and a supportive environment where you can develop essential clinical skills.
Key responsibilities
- Perform patient triage and initial assessments.
- Conduct electrocardiograms (ECGs) under supervision.
- Collect and process blood samples.
- Manage referrals and assist with supervised medical consults.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Required profile
- No prior experience required; willingness to learn and be trained.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and team values.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment.
