Head of Admissions (Enrolments Manager)

About the role

The Head of Admissions at ACG Tauranga leads the enrolment function, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience for prospective families. This senior, people‑focused position combines exceptional customer service with strong organisational expertise to drive enrolment growth and maintain the school’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for prospective parents, students, agents and feeder schools, responding promptly via email, phone and in‑person.
• Guide families through the admissions journey, answering queries and fostering a positive impression of ACG Schools.
• Maintain the Admissions calendar, coordinate visits, and manage meetings for prospects and agents.
• Accurately enter and update application data, offers, financial records and contracts in the iSAMS system.
• Oversee application deposits, resolve invoice queries and track scholarship offers.
• Draft offer letters for the Head of School and manage related communications.
• Plan and execute admissions and retention events such as open days, assessments, taster days and community exhibitions.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to build relationships with families, agents and school partners.
• Experience in managing admissions processes or enrolment growth in an educational setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the iSAMS admissions management system.
