Guest Service & Booking Agent

About the role

We are looking for a customer‑focused individual to be the first point of contact for guests via phone, email and in person, handling enquiries and reservations with accuracy and care. The role is fast‑paced, requires excellent communication and time‑management skills, and involves working on‑site across multiple locations in Queenstown.

Key responsibilities

• Answer guest enquiries by phone, email and face‑to‑face, providing prompt and friendly service.
• Process reservations and ticket bookings accurately using the Restaurant Diary and Roller systems (training provided).
• Maintain up‑to‑date booking records and ensure all guest information is communicated clearly.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting shift schedules that run from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, including weekends and public holidays.
• Support transportation and ticketing operations as needed.

Required profile

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English.
• Confident telephone manner with clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong time‑management abilities and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a similar guest‑service or reservation role.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand and willingness to comply with health‑and‑safety procedures, including random drug and alcohol testing.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of the Restaurant Diary reservation system (preferred).
• Familiarity with the Roller ticketing system (preferred).
• Competent computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
