Guest Service Agent – Front Desk

About the role

As a Guest Service Agent you will be the first and last impression for guests at our hotel. You will welcome a diverse mix of visitors, manage check‑ins and check‑outs, and create memorable experiences that reflect the spirit of Rotorua tourism.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival.
• Process check‑in and check‑out procedures with accuracy.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Settle accounts at departure while delivering exceptional service.
• Promote hotel amenities such as the restaurant, bar, and eco‑friendly products.
• Maintain a clean and organized front‑desk workstation.

Required profile

• Service‑focused personality that makes guests feel valued.
• Ability to stay calm, courteous, and professional during busy periods.
• Strong communication skills, clear and respectful.
• Attention to detail and a tidy work environment.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for reservation systems.
• Cash handling and account settlement.
