Group Tax Advisor

About the role

Join Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s Finance team as a Group Tax Advisor, reporting to the Group Tax Manager – Global. You will play a pivotal role in meeting the Group’s tax compliance obligations while providing commercial tax advice to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a business partner, delivering tax advice and recommendations aligned with business strategies.
• Support global tax compliance, coordinating with local teams and offshore advisors.
• Prepare New Zealand corporate income tax and GST returns and related disclosures.
• Prepare and review tax calculations and tax note disclosures for external financial reporting.
• Assist the transfer‑pricing function, reviewing related‑party transactions and preparing documentation.
• Support international tax reporting, including Country‑by‑Country Reporting and Pillar Two requirements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of tax experience in a professional services firm or in‑house tax function.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Law; CA, CPA or equivalent (or working towards).
• Experience preparing New Zealand corporate income tax and GST returns.
• Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
