Group Learning and Talent Manager

About the role

Naylor Love is seeking a practical, commercially‑minded and future‑focused Group Learning and Talent Manager to shape the capability, career and leadership pipeline across its national construction business. Based in Christchurch or Auckland, you will translate strategic people objectives into hands‑on development solutions that support staff from site roles to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive a national learning, talent and capability approach aligned with the People & Culture strategy and five‑year business plan.
• Build practical capability roadmaps, leadership pathways, succession and talent processes that meet future workforce needs.
• Collaborate with operational, commercial, regional and functional leaders to define role competencies, leadership expectations and capability gaps.
• Lead the implementation of leadership development programmes in partnership with external providers.
• Provide leadership to the National Training Coordinator and work with regional teams, subject‑matter experts, industry organisations and education partners to ensure consistent, relevant training delivery.
