Group General Manager – Luxury Boutique Hotels

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Group General Manager to lead the operational performance of our three luxury boutique hotels in Rotorua. The role will be based at Princes Gate Hotel while providing strategic oversight for Black Swan Lakeside Boutique Hotel and Hana Lodge.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of Princes Gate Hotel across all departments, supervising Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Events and Guest Services.
• Monitor and support operational performance of Black Swan and Hana Lodge through their Lodge Managers and the central support team.
• Maintain consistent luxury boutique service standards across all three properties.
• Oversee property and facilities management, including preventative maintenance, repairs and contractor coordination.
• Drive staff leadership, training and performance management to ensure high guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in luxury or boutique hotel management.
• Strong track record of multi‑property oversight and operational excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
• Demonstrated ability to uphold high service standards and manage property assets.
