About the role
We are seeking a full‑time Groundspread Operator to join our team in Pongakawa. You will operate our modern 4×4 Mercedes‑Benz groundspread fleet, applying fertiliser across the Bay of Plenty using GPS‑guided technology.
Key responsibilities
- Drive and operate 4×4 groundspread vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Apply agricultural fertiliser according to GPS‑controlled application plans.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain high standards of safety and equipment care.
- Interact professionally with rural customers and respond to their needs.
Required profile
- Energetic, responsible and professional attitude.
- Clean Class 5 driver’s licence.
- Positive character with a “can‑do” mindset.
- Previous groundspreading or rural contracting experience is advantageous.
Required skills
- Class 5 driver’s licence.
- Ability to operate GPS‑controlled groundspread equipment.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
