Graduate Programme – Advisory Consulting – Finance, Economics & Analytics

About the role

PwC is looking for recent graduates to join its Finance, Economics & Analytics team in Wellington. The graduate programme starts in February 2027 and offers the chance to work on a variety of advisory projects across public policy, financial modelling and regulatory analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and fine‑tuning of public policy initiatives.
• Assist Kiwi companies of all sizes with financial and commercial functions.
• Conduct financial, economic and cost modelling, as well as pricing analysis.
• Perform regulatory analysis and public‑sector efficiency reviews.
• Develop business cases and contribute to strategic advisory projects.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (or final‑year student) with interest in finance, economics or analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with diverse organisations.
• Willingness to start in Wellington in February 2027.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills are mandated; training and professional qualification support will be provided.
