About the role

Dobbie Engineers is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join its Newmarket office in Auckland. You will be immersed in real engineering projects from day one, contributing to the design, analysis and implementation of solutions that keep New Zealand’s industrial sector running.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers on a variety of industrial projects across New Zealand.
• Participate in the design, modelling and testing of mechanical components and systems.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation, reports and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve practical engineering challenges.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BEng or BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset and enthusiasm for hands‑on engineering work.
• Willingness to learn and develop professional engineering capabilities.
