Graduate Engineer Program – 2‑Year Rotational Role

About the role

Egis is seeking recent engineering graduates to join a two‑year Graduate Engineer Program in Wellington, starting February 2027. The programme offers hands‑on experience across civil, electrical, chemical, mechanical, or mechatronic disciplines, allowing you to contribute to real infrastructure projects while developing your consulting career.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and engineering drawings.
• Maintain quality assurance and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Gather, analyse, and interpret data to support engineering decisions.
• Assist senior engineers in planning, designing, and executing project tasks.

Required profile

• Available to start in February 2027.
• Recent Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for solving complex problems.
• Legal right to live and work full‑time in New Zealand.
