About the role

Join Grant Thornton’s 2027 Graduate Consulting Program focused on Internal Audit and Risk Management. Based in Auckland or Wellington, you will start your professional journey with flexible working policies, a 9‑day fortnight trial and a dedicated mentor to support your development from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior consultants on internal audit engagements and risk assessments.
• Support data analysis and business‑process reviews for client projects.
• Participate in workshops, training sessions and certification pathways relevant to your chosen specialty.
• Contribute to client deliverables and collaborate with subject‑matter experts across the consulting practice.

Required profile

• Commerce, Engineering, Science or Law degree (or conjoint) with majors such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Business Analysis, Data Analytics or Financial Engineering.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Energetic, proactive and eager to learn.
• In final year of study or graduated within the last 12 months.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
