Generalist Solicitor – Open to Graduates

About the role

ARL Lawyers is seeking a motivated Generalist Solicitor to join our team in Lower Hutt. This client‑facing position offers a wide variety of legal work and is open to recent graduates eager to develop their career in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation across a broad range of matters.
• Assist clients with trusts, estates, wills, powers of attorney and commercial transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Manage client relationships and ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or recent law graduate with a strong interest in trusts, estates and commercial law.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
