General Sales Manager

About the role

Papakura Toyota, part of the Manukau Toyota Group, is seeking a General Sales Manager to lead its sales operation. This senior position oversees day‑to‑day sales performance, drives growth in new and used vehicle sales, and ensures exceptional customer outcomes across the dealership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the dealership’s sales team, setting targets and monitoring performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase new‑vehicle and used‑vehicle sales.
• Coach, mentor and develop high‑performing sales staff.
• Maintain strong customer experience standards and resolve escalated issues.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales goals with overall business objectives.
