General Farm Fencer – Wharekopae Station

About the role

Join a close‑knit team at Wharekopae Station, a 2,120‑ha farm focused on breeding and finishing cattle and sheep. As a General Farm Fencer you will keep the property running smoothly through fencing, maintenance and occasional livestock work.

Key responsibilities

• Construct, repair and maintain fences across two separate 1,000‑ha blocks.
• Perform general farm maintenance tasks, including tractor operation and minor repairs.
• Assist with stock handling and yard work when required.
• Plan and lead daily farm activities in collaboration with the team.

Required profile

• Proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Current full NZ driver’s licence.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
