Funds Consultant

About the role

The Funds Consultant joins ANZ’s Customer Engagement – Funds Management team in Auckland. You will help protect and grow customer value across KiwiSaver and investment products by leading targeted retention and engagement initiatives. The role focuses on proactive outreach, personalised advice and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to retain customers and improve their financial outcomes for KiwiSaver and investment products.
• Deliver personalised, needs‑based conversations, providing light financial guidance, education and support.
• Flex between outbound engagement and inbound demand to maintain service continuity.
• Collaborate with product teams to refine campaign outcomes and retention strategies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of KiwiSaver, investment products and market conditions.
• Ensure all interactions comply with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Capture insights from customer interactions and identify opportunities to enhance long‑term value.

Required profile

• Working towards or willing to complete the NZ Certificate in Financial Services – Investment Strand.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build trust.
• Experience delivering customer‑focused conversations and explaining financial concepts clearly.
• Background in retention, outbound engagement or customer‑facing roles, preferably in financial services.
• Ability to provide financial guidance within defined frameworks while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Analytical listening skills to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.
