About the role
Join the Digital Te Au Reka team within the Ministry of Justice and help shape the future of justice services in Aotearoa New Zealand. As a Functional Consultant you will work closely with business partners, the judiciary, delivery teams and vendors to design and configure digital solutions that deliver real value.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business needs into fit‑for‑purpose digital solutions.
- Configure and support enterprise or SaaS platforms throughout their lifecycle.
- Partner with stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Produce clear documentation and uphold quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and share knowledge across the team.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business analysis or functional consulting.
- Ability to translate user needs into practical digital solutions.
- Experience configuring enterprise or SaaS platforms.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with stakeholders and vendors.
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application.
